NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER In Every Little Step, Brown will for the first time tell the full story of his life and set the record straight, particularly about his relationship with Whitney Houston. Bobby Brown has been one of the most compelling American artists of the past thirty years, a magnetic and talented figure who successfully crossed over many musical genres, including R&B and hip hop, as well as the mainstream. In the late 1980s, the former front man of New Edition had a wildly successful solo career—especially with the launch of Don't Be Cruel—garnering multiple hits on the Billboard top ten list, as well as several Grammy, American Music, and Soul Train awards. But Brown put his career on hold to be with the woman he loved—American music royalty Whitney Houston. The marriage between Brown and Houston was perhaps the most closely watched and talked about marriage of the 1990s—a pairing that obsessed the public and the gossip industry. Now, for the first time, the world will be able to hear the truth from the mouth of America’s “bad boy” himself. Raw and powerful, Every Little Step is the story of a man who has been on the top of the mountain and in the depths of the valley and who is now finally ready to talk about his career and family life, from the passion and the excess to his creative inspirations and massive musical success. On the process of writing this book, Bobby says, “Right after I signed on to write my story, I went through one of the most agonizing traumas I had ever experienced with the death of my daughter. But I was surprised by how therapeutic it was to work on this project, to look at the entire arc of my life and to realize that although there has been considerable pain, I have also been incredibly blessed. I hope my fans and other readers of this book will be entertained by this trip into the crazy, exciting, fascinating world of Bobby Brown. And I hope they will feel that I have been as honest and open with them in these pages as I have tried to be my entire life.”

How do they get past a colossal mistake? And how does their family survive and rebuild? However, in a slow step-by-step seduction, Amanda is drawn further and further into a dangerous dance. The dark romance between the two takes an ugly turn, resulting in attempted murder and suicide. The spotlight's glare drives Amanda further away from her home and family until she has to find a way to start a new life for herself. Just when it looks as though Amanda and her family might reconcile, Richard steps in again and she must figure out how to truly stand on her own two feet. EVERY LITTLE STEP SHE TAKES is a novel about the dangers of the wrong kind of love and the strength of true parent-child relationships.
As a child I was called Tiger because I was always into things. As a teenager the death of my father died and we began to move around. I became angry; a SRebel. I had conflicts with religion. When my children were four and six I became a single parent. I learned a lot from them. I hope my stories will keep you laughing. Some that are sad, but that is life.
DescriptionOnce upon a time, a girl child was born. In most cases, girls grow up fine. THIS girl grew up...interesting. By incredible happenstance, she became a share-holder of a castle; a petty thief; a performance art critic; a victim of guerrilla warfare and organic farming. She did all this, before she got married and had the five kids. Add into the mix a kleptomaniac English Mastiff and the stories only grow exponentially in FUN! More remarkable yet, our heroine threw caution to the North wind and moved to Iceland where she encountered a real Viking, an unreal date (or two), went insane, and fell in love with the most beautiful island nation in the world. Read these short-short true-life stories, and prepare to laugh out loud. Most importantly, be so very thankful they didn't happen to YOU. My Story The Setup My story has been partially told so many times to my students and my grandchildren that I realized that I need to just print it. So many people want to know how it was back in the day. I promised myself that I would write it down whenever I got the chance. Well, the cancer treatments allowed me the time to do so. Also, this was a good time because my aunt and brothers and sister are all still alive. They helped to reinforce how I remembered the events. It still hurts to relive the two brothers going off to the Vietnam War and only one getting back alive. Then I realize that my life was already planned, already set up by God. I just needed to follow the plan and continue to be a beacon of light for others to see. I hope that this book might uplift someone else who is struggling with a serious illness and has not realized that we should rejoice in what God is doing in our lives even though we don't understand. Enjoy!
This book summarizes my life and how I went from adversity to despair and how I achieved victory and triumph after a long struggle with Depression. It is a message of hope for those who have been abused and that there is a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. It is through Christ and gaining help from Christian individuals, who greatly impacted my life by sharing their stories of triumph over despair due to abuse in their childhoods. They taught me HOW TO LIVE LIFE in a seemingly hopeless state of mind. I give honour and praise to our wonderful GOD and my LORD JESUS CHRIST, who is also my BEST FRIEND! I hope the reader is encouraged and helped by my sharing my story, interspersed with the poems the Lord gave me in my struggles and, afterwards, poems of victory. JESUS remains my best friend and I hope He will be yours, too!
