16 Lighthouse Road\204 Rosewood Lane\311 Pelican Court\44 Cranberry Point
Author: Debbie Macomber
Welcome to Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove! This is small-town life at its best—and its most interesting… Meet some of the people living here: 16 Lighthouse Road. This is Olivia Lockhart's home. She's a family court judge known for her controversial judgments—like the divorce petition she denied. Thanks to an article by Jack Griffin, editor of the local paper, everyone's talking about it! And then she and Jack start seeing each other outside of the courtroom…. 204 Rosewood Lane is where Olivia's lifelong best friend, Grace Sherman, lives. Grace is the local librarian and her life has been uneventful—until now. Her husband disappeared 6 months ago. She and her daughters have no idea where Dan is, what happened to him, who he might be with. Will they ever find out? 311 Pelican Court is the residence belonging to the Cox family—Zach, Rosie and their kids. Zach and Rosie are divorced, but they have an unusual custody arrangement. It's another one of Judge Lockhart's controversial judgments: the kids get to stay in the house while Zach and Rosie go back and forth! 44 Cranberry Point is a B and B owned by Bob and Peggy Beldon; it's also their home. They've had a shocking incident recently—a man died while he was staying there! They don't know why he came to Cedar Cove, who killed him or why…. These are the first four stories set in Cedar Cove, Washington. Read the books and watch the Hallmark Channel original series based on them. This is your chance to get introduced to the town and the people. Once you've visited, you'll definitely come back!
A Country Christmas might be the best Christmas of all… Buffalo Valley The town of Buffalo Valley, North Dakota—a community in farm country—is undergoing a revival. Vaughn Kyle, who's just out of the army, is looking for a place to live, a life to live. While he's waiting for his ambitious fiancée to make up her mind, he visits Buffalo Valley one snowy day and meets a young woman named Carrie Hendrickson. As they grow close, Vaughn has to question his feelings for the woman he thought he loved. He knows then that he wants to stay in Buffalo Valley, where life is about family and friends—not money and social standing. And not just at Christmas, but every day of the year… Return to Promise Rancher Cal Patterson and his wife, Jane—known as Dr. Texas—have recently separated, with Jane going back to her childhood home in California with their children. Now Cal, alone on his ranch, is forced to confront what he really wants in his life, what he needs. Jane is confronting the same questions. How seriously does Cal take his marriage vows? And how important is Promise to Jane? Is there hope for a reconciliation—in time for Christmas?
Single mom Meg Remington and her teenage daughter begin a conversation. Daughter says nervously: "Uh, Mom, maybe this would be a good time to tell you about Steve." Meg says absently: "Who?" Daughter says quickly: "Umm, Steve—your date for tonight—the man I fixed you up with through a personal ad. Wanna see his picture? He's a total hunk! Mom, is something wrong? He'll be here any minute. You're not wearing that, are you?" Meg gasps. The doorbell rings….
Olivia Lockhart-Griffin Cedar Cove, Washington Dear Reader, I'm sorry to say that our good sheriff, Troy Davis, has suffered a disappointment in love. He was hoping to marry his onetime girlfriend, Faith Beckwith, who recently moved back to town. Well, the latest is that Faith ended the relationship last month, even though both of them are widowed and available. According to Troy, there were a few misunderstandings between them—some inadvertently caused, it seems, by his daughter, Megan. Troy's got plenty to keep him occupied, though—like the unidentified remains found in a cave outside town. And the break-ins at 204 Rosewood Lane, the house Faith just happens to be renting from Grace Harding…. All of that's a distraction from what's happening in my life. I'm going through chemo right now, and I'm so grateful for my husband, Jack, my family and my friends, who give me the strength and support I need to beat this. But beat it I will! I'd suggest meeting at Troy's place, 92 Pacific Boulevard, so we can all talk, but the Pancake Palace is probably a better choice if you want a decent cup of coffee! Olivia
Scott O'Halloran and Chrissie Harris are all grown up now. After years away from Alaska, Scott's back in town, and everybody's wondering if he's here to stay. Especially Chrissie, the girl he left behind…

Olivia Lockhart-Griffin Cedar Cove, Washington Dear Reader, I'm pretty shocked by something I've just heard. Emily Flemming is afraid that her husband, Dave, might be having an affair. She apparently found an earring in his pocket—and it wasn't hers. And she says he's been coming home late and acting secretive. Not only that, some jewelry was recently stolen from an old woman, and Dave (in his capacity as pastor) used to visit her a lot…. This is all so hard to believe! Dave's a good pastor and a good man. He and Emily appear to have the perfect life, with their children, Matthew and Mark, and their lovely home at 8 Sandpiper Way. But I guess things aren't always as they seem. Reader, I'd love to hear what you think, and so does Emily. I have some personal news, too—it's turning out to be a challenging year. But there are also some interesting updates about our friends in Cedar Cove. Like Sheriff Troy Davis, to mention one. Guess what? His long-ago love, Faith Beckwith, has just moved back here! Hope you'll join Emily and me for a cup of tea soon. Olivia
